We were exited to learn that Mia is currently attending Palomar College in San Marcos, CA. She is currently taking prerequisite courses to get into the Nursing program at Palomar, as she plans to pursue a career in nursing. Her favorite class at the moment is Cultural Anthropology. Mia told us that this is her favorite class because she likes learning about new cultures and seeing the world from a new perspective. “This class shows me that there is so much of the world that I do not understand, but it makes me want to learn more,” says Mia.
Mia is also a part of Palomar’s Women’s Golf team. She told us that it was a really fun experience meeting new people and improving her golf skills with her teammates last Fall. Maybe we’ll even see her at the 9th Annual RMJ Humanities Golf Tournament.
